Character

Some members of the Flyer's Club have been busy at work learning about character. So far, we have studied repect and integrity. We are currently learning about kindness, and soon we will wrap the unit up by learning about responsibility. Each class we watch a short video about the character and then we answer some questions or participate in a discussion about what we learned. On the last day of each unit we enjoy acting out a few skits about the proper ways to respond to situations. We are having fun learning about character. Our future is bright when we know how to act!

Money, Money, Money

In Flyers' Club we have been learning all about money. We have learned about things such as banks, interest, loans, savings, and budget. Many were surprised at how much thought goes into finding the best deal when shopping for an item. Who knew MATH was involved in the real world?!
